pickDelightful story, told in verse, about a young girl who daydreams...endlessly. Her mother worries about her, her father, also a daydreamer, gets her but nobody else does. Gabby has moved to a new school and hopes to find a new friend and maybe a place where her dreams can take flight. A great MG read for anyone who loves to dream.
We continue to work through the library shelves. This cover caught my attention and the story definitely captured it (which is redundant I suppose but that‘s my current level of caffeination at work 😂). A short book about a girl who daydreams. Very good so far.
I enjoyed this poem by Nikki Grimes because many kids and adults can relate to what the author was going through even if it hasn't physically happened to them. #UCFWaltersLit
Oh I do love a good verse novel. I like the YA and junior fiction ones better than the adult ones so far. How beautiful is this poem? What a lovely image it creates.
