pickWow! I loved the ending and didn‘t see it coming (don‘t know if I missed some signals). A single mom finds her own strength as she discovers who her next door neighbor was and tries to save the neighbor‘s home from demolition. @FeatherV I think this is one you, too, might enjoy.

Amazing. This book just "spoke" to me. Beautifully written, I couldn't put this down. The message of hope and love truly touched me and brought me to tears many times.
A box kept for each year of her past, Iola Anne's hopes and prayers are found by a young woman who is struggling with identity. The magic of the boxes helps her set a new trajectory for her life.
pickThis story is reminiscent of Nicholas Sparks with its Carolina roots, coastal charm, and a little mystery. I really enjoyed this thoughtful story.
Had a neat beginning, but I'm gonna get on o the stuff I really want to read.
