I really enjoyed how the art work came to life. It was great to see middle schoolers working together for a common good.

Shoutout to my daughter from another mother for introducing me to Chad Sell. He had me at hello with this cute graphic novel. #graphicnovel #doodleville
This was cute enough and there‘s lots of artsy (&other) kids that will enjoy it. Not being a lover of superheroes, it just wasn‘t really my thing.
I really liked this #middlegrade #fictiongraphicnovel that deals with friendship, art as an emotional outlet, and how important it is to deal with your emotions and not deny or bury them. First in a series. #bbrc #bookspinbingo #freespace
I feel like a horrible crumogeon, but something about the magical system in the world of this story didn‘t feel right to me. There are great moments. But the metaphor of art as living creatures that the artist has responsibility to, in perpetuity, seems awkward
We are big fans of Cardboard Kingdom at our house, so we had to read Sell‘s newest, and we loved it!
