This book about Kristin Hersh's friendship with Vic Chesnutt is so funny and beautiful and sad and angry and wonderful. I cried oceans. It moved me so powerfully. Plaintive and real, raw and loving. If you don't mind crying buckets, this book is a must. Day 26 #underhyped #Augustofpages #bookphotochallenge
This memoir of Kristin Hersh's friendship with Vic Chestnutt is truly haunting and beautiful. Filled with humor, love and anger, it is the most gorgeous of elegies. Five stars. I loved this book so much. But, be prepared to cry. A lot.
