For the #Augustphotochallenge of #favsiblings I absolutely have to go with Milly and Twiss from The Bird Sisters. Sigh. Such a wonderful story! So many nuggets of greatness! "She'd grown up with Milly and grow old with her, and then one day, if time had any kindness, she'd die with her. Leaving Milly alone would've been like leaving an injured bird in the middle of the road."

MissSusie66 Highly recommend the audio version narrated by Xe Sands! Such a great book! 9y
Penny_LiteraryHoarders Oh ?@MissSusie66 - I started it out in audio and say the opposite. ?? but that's just me personally - there is just "something" about Sands narration that doesn't click with me. Although I have a friend that says her voice is like listening to porn for her ?? 9y
