Needed a cute book to get me back on track with reading. This one did the job. Not one I loved, but it isn‘t bad. Easy read✨

I wanted to like the M/M rom-com more, it‘s bookish! Jordan is a cinnamon roll character who runs a romance book club (hence the title) his love interest is Rex. He is the reason I did not love the book, he is just not likable. Not a bad read, just not great. 3⭐️

The last few days have been emotionally exhausting so I haven't felt like reading anything heavy. This short romance on kindle unlimited met the criteria for light and happy. It wasn't anything special in terms of story or characters. I knew what was going to happen from the meet cute. But it was still the sweet escape I needed.

This book was between a pick and so-so for me. It was missing something and I just can‘t put my finger on. Jordan is the head of the Meet Cute Club where they read romances. When he goes to the book store to pick up the next book club pick he meets Rex who doesn‘t understand why he likes to read romances. But he thinks Jordan is cute so he decides to give romance a try. The more they hang out the more they like each other.

This was cute, just ok, and on the basic side of romance. There was a lot of room for improvement. Jordan loves reading romance and leads a romance reads book club. Rex is the newest member with tattoos and yeah he rides a motorcycle, and doesn‘t really believe in romance due to his “love‘m and leave‘m” father. I just felt like the author threw in stuff that sounded good in romance vs fleshing out his story. It‘s been a rough month for romance!

This one had a good premise but was mostly tedious. 😪#lbgtqia
