The maim character was really irritating...
My work book club read. Started last night and do not want to read another word.

Took me a while to get into this book but once I did, I was hooked! Brilliant character development.
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want.

A well-written, often funny, quick read. Kelly should‘ve run screaming from Jenny. Wasn‘t 💯 on the ending at all.
About 75% done. Jenny is not a good person - especially not to Kelly. This one has strong Queenie vibes and I‘m keen to see how it ends.
I had all the Zoom meetings today and taught two classes (on Zoom). Time to start a new book with pretty endpapers.
Known as Adults in every other country, Grown Ups is about a 30-something named Jenny trying to navigate her relationships, as seen through social media (including some very funny drunk Tweets and email drafts) and more. I went to an author event this afternoon with her as well and several people discussed how various characters would handle the pandemic.
Yeah, so I‘m about 25 years older than the target demographic for this one. I should have known from the blurb comparisons to Fleabag and Conversations with Friends that this one is just not for me. #ARC #Netgalley 👵🏻🥴
A poignant enjoyable read, it had me both laughing and also up in places. Jenny's life has come to a definite fork in the road for several reasons. This book is how she overcomes life's challenges, and picks herself back up, whilst acknowledging just how hard adulting can be at times. A great lighthearted read. #emmajaneunsworth #adults #tea_sipping_bookworm #bookstagram #goodreads #litsy #amazon #kindle #bookqueen
