I mentioned a little bit ago that I was taking a rug-making workshop towards the end of May. Today was that day. Dig my little ghostie! 👻

I do a full month of “slightly spooky” Storytimes in October. I read a ton of picture books when planning but neglected to keep a record. SO, these are the books that I actually used & read-aloud!
There are several I include every year because there‘s just no beating them. Namely:
•Go Away, Big Green Monster
•Skeleton Hiccups
•Three Little Ghosties
•Ghosts in the House!
If you‘re building up your at-home Halloween collection, they‘re must-buys!
1. I don't read a lot of ghost stories! I am too scared for creepy and horror :) 🎃
2. Binky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde from Pac-Man :D 🎃
3. Ghosts in the House! by Kazuno Kohara 🎃

There‘s a first time for everything! For instance, this was the first time I used a severed hand in the
making of a Children‘s video. 😅
Pretty thrilled about my new Storytime series, tbh.

What a weird, whimsical little book! 👻 A girl collects the ghosts in a house and basically uses them like fabric 😂😂😂 Read it at the bookstore but couldn't justify yet another Halloween board book. I think all future holiday books will likely be with paper pages 😭 #boardbook #halloween #ghosts #bookstore #Tokyo
So.. this feels.. like a person skinning a person and using their skin for stuff. I mean, I know this book is about ghosts and they don't have a physical form so this wouldn't work anyway, but I can't get over that initial thought. So weird!
Interesting art though.
