Josie was not my favorite- too young seeming
I always enjoy a romance novel to escape with and this one seemed like it would fit the bill and with a curvy heroine no less; however, I didn't enjoy as much as other works of hers. Too many characters all getting romance and while the romance was nice, my jaded mood was not looking for that. The sex was too romantic and not hot enough. I didn't read the first 3 so not sure if I would have been more invested in this if I had
Finished this series this weekend while camping and floating on the river! I fell in love with the Essex sisters! Really enjoyed these books, and they were a perfect fit for my lazy weekend!

#seasonsreadings2016 #inthemoodforlove. I'm an eclectic fiction reader. I enjoy most genres especially if there's a bit of romance. But pure romance is my favourite getaway from stress and I just want to have a happy ending 📚#catsofLitsy
Book one of #readathon done! Time to get up and get some breakfast!
Reading on the iPad while snuggled up in bed. Soon, I'll switch books and go get breakfast and head to the beach. #readathon as for the questions: 1) where? Florida!
2) book I'm excited for: Brideshead Revisited
3) snack: chips and dip!
4) I'm at a hotel for the weekend!
5) My fourth @DeweysReadathon
I have my bullet journal all set up and ready for the big day tomorrow. Going to head to bed, and maybe finish this book before the #readathon tomorrow! Can't wait!
This is the back cover of a thrift store find. I texted a photo to my friend, saying, "Such a realistic cover - so many times I've been caught in the rose garden with my lover, only to find I've forgotten underwear as we undress in public." She replied, "I remember when they took this photo of me. Ahh, grad school!" ? #somethingforsept #shadesofblue
The Essex Sisters Series wraps up with Josie's story. I really enjoyed the description of Aunt Cecily's turret room. It seemed like a perfect reading room! I enjoy the Shakespeare references and that Josie loved to read. I also liked the side story with Griselda.

Found this delightful bit of fluff in my desk drawer... I remember really getting into Eloisa James' weird Shakespeare inspired books when I was in college... But I don't remember reading this one... Might have to give it an afternoon. 😉
