#Two4Tuesday

Another excellent addition in the Pandava Quartet series! Which is apparently not going to be a quartet, I heard there will be a 5th book. 😫 I was kind of hoping next month‘s release would be the conclusion. The cliffhanger endings are getting to me!

Using this for the #pop21 forgetting prompt, since their is a lot of backstory about one character who made the choice to give up many of their memories.

Now that life is settling back down again, I‘m going to try to participate in the #MarvelousMarch readathon!

Two books are perfect for unpacking after moving. Aru Shah has short chapters: unpack a box, read a chapter, rinse, repeat. When I get tired of that, I can plug in and listen to Braiding Sweetgrass!

Hoping to also get to The Yield, my #booked2021 pick for #Australia.

I keep forgetting there‘s a trend to have more than three books ... also demons in this one and Holi and some seriously laugh out loud moments this series definitely surprised me with every book how much I love it! #teamharkness #scarathlon2020 @StayCurious

Good to return to Aru Shah again! I'm glad this time we had more development with the Sleeper. The group of Pandavas and adjacents are growing more as characters and I cant wait to see where the next book takes them

This Hindu mythology middle grade series continues to captivate and delight me. As demigods, Aru Shah and her friends have the essential heroic qualities, but I love their human quirks: Aru‘s unabashed nerdiness (frequently quotes Lord of the Rings), Mini‘s many phobias, Brynne‘s passion for food (names their group the Potatoes because duh, it‘s a versatile food), etc. Lots of graphic novel-worthy action, humor, and poignant moments, too. 💜

This has become my favorite MG series to read in the past few years. Aru & her friends continue on their quest to save the world, but life is not easy when you're the reincarnation of an ancient warrior and you're only 14. I love each of the kids in here. They're distinct in their thoughts & their choices. They make mistakes, they own them, they call each other out, & they've got each other's backs. They're just a fun crew to spend some time with.

This series just keeps getting better. My 9 year old son has loved the humor and legends.

I love these books. Not only are we on an adventure, but we‘re still learning!! About ourselves and Hindu legends. I really felt the guilt Aru has been feeling about her dad, the villainous Sleeper. I sense something deeper going on. But. THAT ENDING. I don‘t wanna wait a year. #RiordanPresents

I love Aru Shah and all, but I‘d go with Mini and Brynne any day. Interesting take on the new Pandava brother being these twin girls. Same with the prophecy saying one of them is untrue. Also, can someone get Boo some claiming tea?? Poor pigeon is going to loose all his feathers. #RiordanPresents

I love this series so much. Aru is the most pure character! I love the crews she always ends up in. Great characters, good plot. I think I liked this more than the second in the series but less than the first one.

It was good to get out at mid day and listen to an interview with the author on the Reading Women podcast, even if it was just to pick up food for the cat and the humans. The series sounds very interesting!

Like the previous books in this series, Tree of Wishes was a fun story filled with Hindu mythology. Book 3 in the series introduces us to new characters who promise to feature heavily in the final book due out next year. I enjoyed the plot and watching the Pandavas and their Pandava-adjacent friends grow closer and stronger, but I HATED the ending. If Bailey wasn‘t sleeping, I might throw the book across the room.

I love my mom. 💖 It‘s bedtime. We‘re on opposite sides of the house. She came and grabbed Aru Shah off the far stack so I didn‘t lose my spot on my queen size bed. I‘m ridiculous, she‘s awesome, and #Bailey is a brat. 🤣🤣

If anyone is still awake, please help me pick my next print book. Each option is lettered. If you don‘t mind dropping a letter in my comments, I‘d be grateful. I simply can‘t decide and I thought I‘d let Litsy be my virtual TBR jar. 😍

I absolutely love this series and Roshani Chokshi‘s writing. I wish I didn‘t have to another year for the next book.

Fun fact. Audible picks up where you leave off on the kindle.

On to my next read and continuing my binge of Hell‘s Kitchen. I‘ve been looking forward to reading this book since I finished the second in the series last year.
