I actually loved this one.. Very funny & has actually made me question my own time spent online & also think about the amount of apps I rely on, but don't really need.. Brilliant.. 😊

Nice dedication. More people should be knitting. 😜
Andy's lifestyle made me slightly panicky just reading about it. Fortunately and hilariously, he has to go on a technology detox. It's tough on him at first, but if course he gets better and realises that what you see on social media isn't necessarily what real life looks like.

Book 2 of 3.. 😁 I'm trying to switch it up a bit & read something other than crime, mystery & thriller.. This sounds different to what I normally go for..
An entertaining story & cautionary tale rolled up in one. I very much enjoy Spalding's writing style is flippant, hilarious, & realistic, making the character interactions & Andy's internal monologues feel incredibly natural. The characters may be occasionally farcical, but have a ring of truth about them that create a bit of internal retrospection. There were definitely a few over-the-top moments & corniness, but it was all good fun.
I love when these two snuggle in next to me. In other news this book is quite funny, but I think my old Kindle Keyboard is dying. Not holding much of a charge 😭
Listened to the audio book of this one and it was hilarious. Some really good observations and messages too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
@LibrarianRyan - found my book on the first try. ? Unless ARCs don't count.

By the way, it's @Crazeedi's fault I have this ARC to read and review. ?
This might seem a bit of a strange choice to really enjoy a book about a digital detox at a time when most of us are using technology more than ever to keep in touch with family and friends, but this made me laugh so much. Andy's adventures without his phone were funny and relatable, the secondary characters are great and I thought the resolution was really clever. It also reminds you not to take what you see on the internet too seriously!
Thanks to #netgalley, #lakeunionpublishing , and #amazonpublishingUK for the opportunity to read this hilarious book.

If you've ever thought about disconnecting from all your electronic devices, you will get a kick out of this book. Andy is suffering from all kinds of physical problems and when his jaw freezes up during a presentation, he make appointment with his doctor. Diagnosis? ⤵️
Giving this #NetGalley #ARC a chance now that my head doesnt feel like its exploding. Little Man is back to being the #LazyCoworker and fortunately hasnt headbutted anyone today.
Light-hearted read that will leave you wondering whether our increasing reliance on technology is helping or hurting us. For our protaganist, Andy, its definitely hurting him-and reading about his adventures trying to detox was both enjoyable & cringe-worthy. The book won't change your life (I don't think!) but will give you a few hours of enjoyment. Thanks to the publisher for providing an ARC through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
Feeling free does not also stop you from feeling lost. The two emotions can sit beside each other quite comfortably.

Ready for something funny and really hoping I like this better than his book Fat Chance...
