The Marshal Makes His Report | 
pickMarshal Guarnaccia is on the police force in Florence, and he‘s a barrel of a man, self deprecating, uncertain,prone to silence, smarter and instinctively aware of reading subtle indicators than he thinks he is. An apparent suicide rocks the aristocracy, and the marshal‘s probe raises differences in class as well as increasing pressure to leave the case alone. Once started the marshal persists, navigating the labyrinth of city and politics. Nice.
