A Rose For Her Grave
A Rose For Her Grave: And Other True Cases | Ann Rule
Ann Rule's Crime Files books have delivered the very best in true crime reading since A Rose for Her Grave, first in the acclaimed series, made its debut. Distinguished by the former Seattle policewoman's razor-sharp eye for telling detail and her penetrating analysis of the criminal mind, this gripping collection of accounts drawn from her personal files features the twisting case of Randy Roth, who married -- and murdered -- for profit. In her trademark narrative style, Ann Rule weaves a tale that is riveting, enraging, and heartbreaking all at once, and brilliantly chronicles the fateful confluence of a killer and his female victims, as well as the shattering investigation into Roth's heinous crimes.

#Top20Series I‘ve been fascinated with true crime since I was a kid, and Ann Rule was by far my favorite writer in the genre. So I‘m including her crime files books as one of my favorite series—and actually started retreading this one today. #20Series20Days @Andrew65

This is actually the first book I‘ve read by Ann Rule which is surprising because I love true crime. This was so well researched and written. She really is respectful in her writing and encompasses a lot without being overly gruesome. I thought this was very good and very interesting.

Aren‘t I a spoilt bum? #hocuspocusswap. I started to read I‘ll be gone in the dark last night & scared myself silly. I especially ❤️the socks & pumpkin treats. We don‘t have sweets like that in Oz. I don‘t have a costume to wear when I walk my step daughters around the neighbourhood for Halloween so will definitely make use of 1 of the headbands. We didn‘t celebrate Halloween in Oz when I was little so it‘s a novelty for me. Thanks @Whodunit85

BookwormDownUnder Love Reese‘s!! Miss them now that I‘m an Aussie. Brought Halloween to my neighborhood yesterday. Too fun! 6y
