Rose for Her Grave: And Other True Cases (Turtleback School & Library)
Rose for Her Grave: And Other True Cases (Turtleback School & Library) | Ann Rule
In "A Rose for Her Grave, " Anne Rule turns her unflinching professional eye on one of the most infamous cases in the Pacific Northwest - that of Randy Roth, a man who married for profit, and the woman who were his victims, as well as other compelling true crime accounts from her personal case files. In the trademark style that makes her books such extraordinary page-turners, she delves into the personalities and backgrounds of the criminals, their families, and the circumstances that brought about the crimes. Packed with shocking details, vivid characters, and twisted secrets, this is a unique collection of true crime stories from Ann Rule, hailed by John Saul as "the undisputed master crime writer of the eighties and nineties."

#Top20Series I‘ve been fascinated with true crime since I was a kid, and Ann Rule was by far my favorite writer in the genre. So I‘m including her crime files books as one of my favorite series—and actually started retreading this one today. #20Series20Days @Andrew65

This is actually the first book I‘ve read by Ann Rule which is surprising because I love true crime. This was so well researched and written. She really is respectful in her writing and encompasses a lot without being overly gruesome. I thought this was very good and very interesting.

Aren‘t I a spoilt bum? #hocuspocusswap. I started to read I‘ll be gone in the dark last night & scared myself silly. I especially ❤️the socks & pumpkin treats. We don‘t have sweets like that in Oz. I don‘t have a costume to wear when I walk my step daughters around the neighbourhood for Halloween so will definitely make use of 1 of the headbands. We didn‘t celebrate Halloween in Oz when I was little so it‘s a novelty for me. Thanks @Whodunit85

BookwormDownUnder Love Reese‘s!! Miss them now that I‘m an Aussie. Brought Halloween to my neighborhood yesterday. Too fun! 6y
