From the author of P is for Pearl comes a heart-warming book about family, friendship and what home can mean. Stella may only be seventeen, but having read every self-help book she can find means she knows a thing or two about helping people. She sure wasn't expecting to be the one in need of help, though. Thanks to her father's gambling addiction, Stella and her family now find themselves living at Fairyland Caravan Park. And hiding this truth from her friends is hard enough without dealing with another secret. Stella's birth mother has sent her a letter. As Stella deals with the chaos of her family, she must also confront the secrets and past of her 'other' family. But Stella is stronger than she realises. From the author of P is for Pearl comes a heart-warming book about family, friendship and what home can mean.

I really enjoyed this - and for me, the how the story of a half hidden family secret that grows into quite the catalyst felt quite authentic. Quality addition to the #LoveOzYA family and makes me think I should dig up the authors other book which I‘m pretty sure has been languishing on my bookshelf for *some* time now 😉

I read an excited IG review for this - and my local bookstore had it in & was offering free delivery (I was so impressed that my late night book purchase turned up the next afternoon! Big hats off to The Leaf Book Shop in Ashburton, Melbourne 🇦🇺) and I think I‘ll start reading this one soon!

Hooked_on_books I love the creativity bookstores are showing. Great for everyone. And I love this cover! 5y

#currentlyreading #preview #loveozya #aprilrso2020 my family tree book with my bonsai that is growing out of control. I loved this author‘s first YA novel, P is for Pearl, so I am excited to read this one.
