so-soFlame of Recca is a longish manga series, so it right out isn't for everyone. But, if you can get through the first few volumes, you are brought into a world where good fights bad, everyone has unique and intriguing abilities, and characters do have some real depth (albeit most of the depth is spent on the villans). Its a simple and enjoyable read, with only grim moments in the whole series. If you like comics, the English verison is a good read.
