pickI‘ve been having vision problems for a while now that requires surgery so I was interested in this book for that reason. I absolutely loved this story! It was so good, really grabbed my interest while educating. I learned so much and loved how seamless she transitioned Emma‘s language when she was describing rooms or people with colors. Highly recommend!!
so-soAfter a terrible accident Emma loses her sight at 14. A year after she starts her sophomore year at her old school trying to navigate her new life without sight and being a teenager.
Dead classmate was not needed. I get the author was trying to connect Emma's blindness with it but it was poorly executed. Redundant paragraphs at times.
I did like how the author described how Emma "saw things. It was written poetically and beautiful.

There's times where you must set the book down and cry a bit, others where you let out that little huff of laughter. Blind is a book about learning how to live with change.
pickI seemed to cry at parts that had me crying for no logical reason. A story from hardship and about growth after a tragedy and growing up. Bust out your tissues for this one.
