#bookspin #17! This was low-angst and high-steam, not my personal favorite romance combination, but luckily it's also fun and funny. Also Mason is an enormous Scotsman, so pretty much my catnip.

Amusingly, there's an incident at the wedding in the book so much like what happened at my own wedding that I'm just going to let myself believe I inspired it, since the author and I follow each other on Twitter. ;-)

Loved Xeni and Mason story❤️❤️ Rebekah is so good at giving you fun, sweet, steamy stories. I really need to get the other books connected with this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4/5 for this one! I really enjoyed this contemporary romance. All the steam!! Xeni is a strong vibrant female character. Mason is the hunky sweet love interest. The romance and tension was perfect! The story was interesting.

Quick and dirty, still manages to be a sweet story of coming to terms with difficult family, unexpected love and bagpipes.

Downloaded this one as soon as I finished Rafe.🤣

Again, Weatherspoon has written a very sexy (this one is even hotter than Rafe) romance with another too-good-to-be-true-but-who-cares couple. I loved this one even more than the first book in the series, mainly because I LOVE Xeni, and some of the stuff she gets up to with her Scottish hunk (go ahead and try not to picture Jamie Fraser) are sexy-times I had never before read. 😳🔥

Technically this is book 2 in a series but Xeni was a minor character in book 1 so I didn't feel the need to read that one first (but I will be going back!) The subtitle of this is "a marriage of inconvenience" because when Xeni's aunt dies, she has to marry a stranger to get the money that has been left to her. There are some other surprises and great chemistry. Not for prudes! ↘️

Another very fun, super steamy romance from Rebekah Weatherspoon. In order to collect her inheritance, Xeni has to marry Scotsman Mason for at least 30 days. She's sure this will be a platonic marriage with a big payout, but Mason may be exactly what she's been looking for in a man all along.

I loved the glimpse of Xeni we got in Rafe and she rocked in this book. An arranged marriage, family secrets and a thick Scot that can play the bagpipes? I was so into this book.

I‘m totally in love with Rebekah Weatherspoon heroes 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not gonna lie - they‘re respectful, but they‘ll spank ya after getting consent.

XENI continues to be amazing, too. I‘m all kinds of in love with the characters and the communication and the humour and the drama. Good show, Rebekah Weatherspoon!

A weird audio thing: my last book had an American narrator who pronounced lilac like it was two words. This one‘s got a British narrator who does the same thing with condom. #audiocooking

I started XENI while I sorted through some puzzles I want to put on the curb as free pandemic activities for passersby. Then I kept on listening while I sewed another face mask and did a sizeable chunk of a puzzle, because it‘s find-excuses-to-keep-going good.

Marriage of convenience to inherit money gets a modern twist in this. I loved the characters, I loved the family drama, I loved the openness about the characters‘ wants and desires in the relationship. Steamy and page turning. Very, very steamy - do not read in public because it might make you blush!
