Fans of Dragons Love Tacos and Adventure Time will love this story of five unlikely heroes and their epic quest to save the Super Happy Magic Forest! Welcome to the Super Happy Magic Forest, a super happy, super magical place filled with picnics, dancing, and fun. That is until the source of all things joyous, the Mystical Crystals of Life, are stolen! Five heroes -- a fairy, a unicorn, a faun, a gnome, and a talking mushroom -- have been summoned by wise Old Oak to retrieve the Crystals, but the epic quest won't be easy. They must first battle through frozen lands, navigate past scary dungeons, and encounter terrifying creatures along the way. Will these heroes save the day? It's hard to say! With so much to laugh at and explore, lovers of silliness, adventure, and all things magical won't be able to get enough of Super Happy Magic Forest!

My favorite April read was the tagged book. It was a super fun, colorful fantasy story that I spent time reading/viewing all of the little details.

I also thought it deserved to make it through the next round, even over Will, which was a fantastic book. I just think the originality and humor edged out the nostalgia from the Will book. This was a tough decision, and I can‘t imagine what the rest are gonna be like! #2022ReadingBracket @chasjjlee

This was a super fun start to #deweys24hrreadathon! I found myself chuckling on almost every page. The illustrations reminded me of the Where‘s Waldo books, and the character comments were more interesting than the story itself. Will probably purchase this for my nephews at some point!
Also, this book completed all of the prompts for the #booklyenchantedreadathon

If you are a #bookly user, you may have seen that they are hosting a readathon next weekend with four prompts:
1.) Magic World
2.) “Forest” in title
3.) Mystery or Fantasy genre
4.) Green cover

This fits 3 of those four prompts for anyone that‘s interested, and it‘s only 32 pages! Placed my hold this morning!

There's a joke in here somewhere. Let's see a gnome, a unicorn and a troop of woodland creatures walk into a meadow...

Picture books for the win!

I really like picture books too. This is one of my favorites right now. Good for older kids and adults as well (complete with Holy Grail and LOTR references). There's always something new to discover. Trevor the mushroom is my fave!
