So she brought in the whole tree instead, making it the first known Christmas Tree in England. This story tells a little known fact about a favorite holiday tradition.

I‘m sorry to say I knew nothing about Queen Charlotte - the wife of George III. From this book, which describes how she brought the tradition of the Christmas tree to England, she sounds like a unique and amazing woman. I‘d like to learn more about her!
