Seaside Practice: Tales of a Scottish Country Practice
Seaside Practice: Tales of a Scottish Country Practice | Tom Smith
1 post | 2 read | 4 to read
When he arrived to take up his first posting as a GP in Collintrae, a small fishing village on the west coast of Scotland, Tom Smith wasn't sure what to expect. Certainly nothing in his training could have prepared him for the likes of Mad Maggie, the baker with nine lives and the giggling nuns, to list but a few cases.

Pickpick

Starting in 1965, Dr Tom Smith was a GP in a small coastal Scottish community. Here, he chronicles his time there with gentle humor and much care for the community. I really enjoyed this.
