Finally getting round to starting this. Hope it is as good as everyone says it is!
pickI finished this book earlier this week (with the help of Bombadil) and it has stayed with me. I loved the characters, and how the author used them to create unique similes for homophobia and racism. Lots of funny moments too. Bonus points for gay main characters.

I loved this just as much as many others seem to. It‘s joyful in the best possible way and I didn‘t know it was the book I needed right now. I laughed and I cried so many tears of joy by the end. Linus was my favorite character and I‘m so happy he found his home. All the children were unique, I couldn‘t possibly choose a favorite.
Thanks @BarbaraJean for making me pick it up now instead of letting it languish on my shelf.
