panI don‘t give out one star lightly but I really hated this book. The main character was annoying, self righteous, rude, whiny, and had zero business inserting herself into a murder investigation. The boyfriend was just as bad (he‘s a cop). The dialogue was corny and the narrator for this was also terrible. My first 1⭐️ book in a few years. 😬

TorieStorieS I feel like cozy mysteries are either 100% awesome or 100% awful— I don‘t think I have read any that are just okay… seems like a love/hate thing for me! Sorry this was the latter!! 2mo

I‘m usually better at picking books I know I‘ll like but I only finished them because they‘re short. I really hated this one, though. I think it‘s been a few years since I gave out a 1⭐️ rating because usually I can find at least one redeeming thing in any book! Since you‘re my book twin if you haven‘t read them try the Phryne Fisher series⬇️ 2mo

She does most of Liane Moriarty‘s books and I think a few of Kate Morton‘s along with some others— I just love her voice and she handles all accents well!! 2mo
