pickI did it! It took me almost a year but I finished this excellent anthology of nature poetry. Such a fascinating exploration on the relationship between African Americans and the natural world. Highly recommended for all poetry lovers.

Another absolutely incredible book. I bought this after reading a poem by Camille T. Dungy in the anthology I read a few books ago. Her perspective on nature is so similar to my own and I wanted to read more. Although this only has a few poems by her, it‘s an amazing collection and her introduction was invaluable in providing context.
