pickI‘ve learned so much about my Slovenian heritage from this fun memoir/travel guide #setintheBalkans for my #ReadingwithMaja challenge. I can see why author Noah Charney is considered Slovenia‘s biggest cheerleader. I loved his funny & colorful stories about this beautiful country and all of its hidden gems. I even discovered new musicians, traditional foods and Bill Murray trivia! My only gripe: no photos were included.

PurpleyPumpkin No pictures??? Ahh seems a shame as I‘m sure they would have added a lot to the author‘s story. Sounds so interesting! Hope your September is starting off well.
