Dragon Wing: The Death Gate Cycle | 
pickI recently found this series as I was unpacking boxes in my basement, boxes we haven‘t opened in 15 years or more. So of course it brought me back to when I was a teen (maybe young adult?) and loved it. I remembered nothing, so it was like reading it for the first time. And I really enjoyed it! It was pretty much non-stop action, and the world building was really fun. I‘m not sure when I‘ll get to the next book, but I will eventually!

1. Sometimes, but most times a twist will take me by surprise. I prefer the twists I cant see coming

pick🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉 I was unprepared to like this book as much as I did. I thought that it would be a Tolkien-esque story but it was surprisingly unique. Even though it has humans, elves, and dwarves it had a different take on the genre. I loved it!

1. This one is so tough. A lot of people haven't heard of this series, but I've always loved The Deathgate Cycle by Margaret Weis
2. Lord of the Rings, I've watched these many times
3. I don't really have one but I tend to gravitate towards blue

Haplo is a favorite character of mine, the internal struggle he goes through. I love the world building in this. This is a series that I re-read & still enjoy.
