Pickpick

Brett and Poppy have been happily married for 27 years. At least that‘s what Brett and the couple‘s best friend, Philip, thought. That is until Poppy decides she‘s had it and wants a divorce. Everyone in the family deals with the impending divorce in very different ways. But, no one takes it quite as hard as Philip. If you like books that are introspective, then May Sarton is an author you may enjoy. Her books always give me lots to ponder.

1️⃣ Crucial Conversations by May Sarton and The Kitchen God‘s Wife by Amy Tan

2️⃣ Commonwealth by Ann Patchett — This will be my third try. If I don‘t get through it this time I‘m going to have to bail.

3️⃣ The Testaments by Margaret Atwood

Cinfhen So funny about your comment regarding CommonWealth. I was about to bail too and on my third try, the book clicked and it ended up being a 5 star read!!!!! 5y
suvata @Cinfhen Well, that gives me some inspiration. I will definitely try to hang in there this time. It seems we have very similar taste in books. 5y
