Jumping right into book 2!
“You're going to want to play along and do so quickly, because I have the patience of a hungry toddler and a severe problem with impulsivity. I don't think before I act.”

This story continues to be interesting. I did find that this one dragged a bit. This series is more of a true YA than the author's Blood and Ash series (love!!). The end had an interesting twist and I will check out the next book in the series.
Loved this second book in the Harbinger series!!! While I found Trinity‘s dialogue a little juvenile, the action and character development far outweighs it. The ending left me shocked and dying to read the third book!
4.25/5 stars
This second in the trilogy finds Trinity and Zayne searching for the Harbinger, the instigator of the end times.
I think I enjoyed this one more than the previous (Storm and Fury) as it featured further character development/growth, more backstory and an even more suspenseful plot and evil villain. There's love angst, moral angst, jealousy angst and all sorts of other angst in this one that are, rather than being annoying,🔻
Day 7 - July
Rage and Ruin. It was fantastic and I can‘t wait for the next book. 12/31

I love all of JLA's books. I wish I had the willpower to hold off til she is finished writing a series but I can't, there's no way. Now I have to wait til June 2021 to find out what happens next. I can't really say much except Trinity and Zayne are on patrol and things are getting more and more complex. And that ending! We get more of Roth and Layla in this one, too.
One more book haul because when life gets rough, buy books. Three came from online purchase this week. One from the store. The black tail in the upper corner is the dog who won't leave me alone and is being too hyper for my relaxing day today!
Damn. That ending!!!
#24B4Monday #readathon 3rd book finished
This book is just fun. I like the snarky main character and the fact that she has superpowers along with a disability. Even Zayne grew on me. I like the sappy gargoyles and morally ambiguous angels and demons. This book was a good continuation of the series and I am anxious to find out what happens next.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh my gosh where to start. First off I kind of ruined the cover by cutting the box open and getting the book with the knife. Oh well. Second of all this was even better than Storm and Fury. There was action, romance, and friendship throughout the book. There was a lot of banter and hilarious parts. I just loved it and want more.

This book is exactly why I love Jennifer Armentrout‘s books. If you were ever a Sarah J. Maas fan, ever going to be or currently are, this is for you. All of the characters, all.of.them are written at her best, perfectly flawed, snarky, strong, vulnerable, hilarious, inventive, and three dimensional. The only thing I don‘t like is I have to wait for the next book.
You can tell what book this is the sequel to. Except for the color it seems like an exact match.
