Taking a short break to read the new book I got from #AHR swap! So excited to start this one! #scarathlon #blackcatcrew 🐈‍⬛

Ugh. It‘s been a day. All I want to do now I curl up with a stack of books and not emerge until I absolutely have to. Starting with finishing this cozy. It‘s entertaining so far, but I‘m pretty sure I‘ve figured out who the killer is 9 chapters in. I usually never figure it out so I‘m curious to see if I‘m right. Murder, She Wrote on the TV, a fuzzy blanket on my lap and an even fuzzier dog at my feet. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

This was a really fun cozy. The first few pages I was convinced that it was overwritten and I wouldn‘t like it at all, but I think it was just a jarring change from my last novel which was classic British style and very pared back. I ended up really enjoying this, though I never figured out why there‘s a cat on the cover…
