This should be required reading for anyone who are on or considering being on the pill. Dr. Hill doesn‘t want you to stop taking birth control pills, she just want you to take them while being informed about their effects on your body and brain, both good and bad. I did not know must of the info in the book, despite me being on the pill for over 10 years, and my head is spinning with all the science and knowledge.

TrishB Sounds really interesting 👍🏻 4y
Sace Passing this along to my daughter. She's very into natural family planning but she keeps herself informed of other methods too. 4y
saresmoore Sounds fascinating! Several different versions of the pill have each wreaked havoc on my body over the years, so I‘m intrigued. 4y

CarolynM I wish I'd known more about it 30 years ago. It was effective, but it didn't do me any other favours😬 4y
Kalalalatja @TrishB @Sace @saresmoore @CarolynM I‘m just fascinated by what we find acceptable side effects for women to live with. And I‘m kinda excited for when I go off the pill, because I don‘t really know who I am off it, since I have used it from I was 15 4y
squirrelbrain This does sound really interesting - stacked. 4y
TrishB @Kalalalatja think you got it there- what is acceptable for women to live with. Menopause next, another form of torture or control ?? 4y
SamAnne What an interesting book. I had such bad reactions to the pill I quit using it early on. Depression at worst, feeling completely flat at best. 4y
Sace @Kalalalatja my daughter works with clients who want to get off the pill. She's certified in the symptothermal method of natural family planning. She hates how doctors/pharm companies ignore NFP and women get the shaft. 4y
CarolynM @TrishB Topical for me right now. I'm not tempted by HRT yet, but we'll see😬 4y
TrishB @CarolynM no me neither! But I‘m always open to changing my mind 😁 4y
