Despite a brilliant book cover, I bailed within the first pages.

About to enjoy a little reading in the bath after an exhausting first day commuting back to the office.
So excited for this Heavenly Aroma bath bomb, @Endowarrior21 ! Such a peaceful looking blue!
A trashy, gossip filled chick-lit that would make the late Jackie Collins proud. A Hollywood producer surprises his wife with divorce papers which leads the soon to be ex wanting revenge. Enter an ex-con sibling, a psychic, a ballsy lawyer, plastic surgeons, Mexican maids, boytoys, and a rebellious tween and you have the makings of social media tabloid fodder meets the Real Housewives and Katdashians.
This was just okay I still recommend you give it a try. Not every book is for everyone You be the judge. 2 stars
I simply cannot read this book. I struggled to 5% on my Kindle, developed a headache and finally threw up my hands and thought, life‘s too short.
Obviously I don‘t know a lot about it but that 5% was like trying to read a foreign language...over-the-top, nonsensical, choppy and just plain hard to follow. And I could already guess that I wouldn‘t like any of the characters.
Maybe it‘s just me... 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😩
@Jas16
OK, I made the mistake of seeing how this one‘s reviewing on here...hmmm. May not be my best read ever. 🤣🤣🤣 Going in with an open mind. 🤞🤞🤞
Out 2/11.
Honestly the worst book I have read in a long time. I wouldn‘t have finished it If it weren‘t from Netgalley and my selection for #booked2020 #setinhollywood but YMMV.
I have started off the new year, really trying to slow down my reading and turn of outside noise. When I picked up this book, I started seeing the reviews, I thought oh my, this might be a stinker. However, because of my new reading habits, I think that this book was saved. It is a complete fluff book and if you know that going in, you will enjoy this all the more.

A hilarious account of what happens when a Hollywood couple divorces, especially when the wife was a normal person. Unfortunately, I couldn‘t get behind any of the characters; none of them are really likeable and this isn‘t a story where they‘re suppose to be unlikeable. But, it was a quick and short read, so I didn‘t expect it to go beneath the surface.
Today‘s reading! 😊
