For some reason I thought of this book for #PillowTalk even though it‘s about female friendship. But I guess that talk before sleep can technically classify as pillow talk 🛌 😉
This is a good book and a tough read that I read years and years ago but has stayed with me.💜
Elizabeth Berg‘s introduction to the book probably is a better guide to the book‘s tone and content than the description on Litsy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Look at these beautiful roses from a friend who visited last night! I was blown away.
So this book. I‘ve avoided reading any fiction about cancer since my own cancer diagnosis (years ago - all good now). This is beautiful though - you can tell Berg has been alongside a friend with terminal illness and gets the details just right - the frustrations, awkwardness, the saying the wrong things, the fighting for hope. A tribute to female friendship
