Back in the day I gobbled up Dragonlance novels like they were candy. Raistlan Majere was always so fascinating to me. I mean, he was one of the good guys...and yet...he was such an asshole and only interested in power.

My young self loved that about him. One of my favorite Fantasy Mages! ❤️

Aliciaftw I just read the main trilogy of Dragonlance when I was a kid but I loved it! I definitely need to get around to reading more of Dragonlance after my current Forgotten Realms binge. 7y
GrilledCheeseSamurai @Aliciaftw Yeah, Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms were my life blood when I was a kid! So many great memories of them growing up. To this day I still re-visit from time to time. 👍 7y

Hit a couple used bookstores while we were away for a few days and found a few books from my list, plus some surprises! #bookhaul

Texreader Ahhh Vance. My husband's fave author ever. 8y
andrew61 I picked odd Thomas up in a library sale a while ago but haven't read it yet, is it worth it? 8y
TK-421 @Texreader These will be my first Vance books. I've been searching for The Dying Earth books with no luck. 8y
TK-421 @andrew61 A friend of mine introduced me to the Odd Thomas books a few years ago. I enjoyed them enough to buy my own copies (even the one I think is the weakest in the series so far) I still have a few more books to read, but other than Brother Odd, I like them. If you're looking for spine chilling horror, these probably won't fit the bill. But if you're looking for a relatable hero who's constantly evolving as he fights evil, Odd's your guy. 8y
andrew61 @TK-421 thanks 8y
