pickA great sorry for younger elementary aged kids. Just the right amount of spook and mystery, an engaging plot but not an overwhelming amount of text, and awesome atmospheric illustrations. The last third of the book has Halloween facts and activities that I could just as easily take or leave, but I can see that section appealing to certain young readers. #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick +26 pts
We have an obscene amount of Halloween/fall books (there are more paperbacks that aren‘t pictured). I‘m a huge fan of holiday books and buy way too many but my kids love pulling them out every year & reading them
