Beautifully illustrated book about animal migrations.
A great way to teach your kids about new animals and their migration paths.
Jenni Desmond did an excellent job illustrating this book, while Mike Unwind offers vocabulary rich descriptions of the animals and of their migrations.

If you know anyone, especially young ones, who love to learn about the amazing things that animals do, this #picturebook is perfect. Humpback whales, caribou, elephants, barn swallows, dragonflies and Christmas Island red crabs are among the 20 species featured here. The Arctic tern travels from pole to pole, up to 60,000 miles, every year. Beautiful artwork by Jenni Desmond makes this book even more appealing. #allages

This tiny bird, which weighs less than a sugar lump, can fly 500 miles across the ocean! Every spring, it leaves its tropical winter home in Central America and flies north to North America. To arrive quickly, it takes the most direct route: straight across the wide, blue Gulf of Mexico. (Ruby-throated hummingbird)

wanderinglynn They are amazing little birds. ❤️ 5y
Lindy @wanderinglynn Absolutely. They can even fly backwards! 5y
