Just read this again as we were leading a class on it, and it was just as powerful as the first time. I have instituted a lot of the principles in my life but gleaned new insight the second time around.

I LOVED this book. Read in 2017 in a very transitional season in my life, and in a lot of ways, I had never learned to identify my emotions, or at least the cause of them and navigate through. This opened my eyes to why emotions are GOOD and how God wants to use them as we walk through things. #counseling #ministry #pastoralcare #emotionalhealth
I normally choose fiction novels over self-help, but I‘m glad I picked up this little piece. Scazzero‘s book is honest, his stories raw, and his wisdom unpretentious. The real challenge begins now, beyond the back cover, as I attempt to implement these truths, and accept the inevitable mess along the way to emotionally healthy spirituality.
