Well I was sort of right a lot of dark things happen but it wasn‘t a complete downer and ended on a hopeful note. The whole time I read this it felt like a season of the walking dead without the zombie threat. Plenty of people being people after a population cull with a side of road trip. Heading into part two and idk if it‘s because I knew heading in this would probably be a downer (I mean the title has suicide in it so you know there‘s going to be at least one) but I‘m not as affected by it.

Simon and I are about to start my #BookSpin selection for the month. The blurb makes me think it might be a kind of downer but we shall see.
