HE VOWED HE’D COME FOR HER . . . Murdered before he could wed Regin the Radiant, warlord Aidan the Fierce seeks his beloved through eternity, reborn again and again into new identities, yet with no memory of his past lives. SHE AWAITS HIS RETURN . . . When Regin encounters Declan Chase, a brutal Celtic soldier, she recognizes her proud warlord reincarnated. But Declan takes her captive, intending retribution against all immortals—unaware that he belongs to their world. TO SATE A DESIRE MORE POWERFUL THAN DEATH . . . Yet every reincarnation comes with a price, for Aidan is doomed to die when he remembers his past. To save herself from Declan’s torments, will Regin rekindle memories of the passion they once shared—even if it means once again losing the only man she could ever love?

My girl Regin was done dirty with this book. My FAVORITE trope was ruined. I LOVE, destined lovers who find each other fall in love only to die and be reborn to repeat the same cycle. I love this trope. It was ruined in this book. The minute I read that Aidan a 30yr old man was attracted and in love with a 12yr old Regin I knew this book was not gonna make me happy. And it didn‘t.

I'm reading this series and listening to the Fated Mates podcast for each one. I'm loving it so far! It. Is. WILD. And I'm pretty nervous about this one, I have heard some things about Regin's book and there was a glimpse of it in the last book that was pretty rough. Eek! Oh I got a bunch of these nice paperbacks in mint condition at the Half Price Books after Christmas sale! 📚

I've got a stack of books, a giant cup of tea, and it looks like a might be unintentionally participating in #deweysreadathon. I'm about to leave town for a week, I have 8 million things to do and all the family obligations; why not stay up all night reading?

Definitely enjoying these more than the earlier books. I gotta admit, I liked Lothaire; looking forward to his book now. I liked all of the side characters more than the mains in this one.

Zelma Ha, I never actively plan to join the readathon but I love all the posts and end up reading and Litsy-ing all day anyway. 6y
everlocalwest @Zelma One of these days I'm going to schedule my weekend around the readathon!! 💙📚 6y

I spent my Friday night reading this and was up until 1:30 am. No regrets. Against all odds, a conflicted, reincarnated warrior with a ton of baggage earns his happily ever after with a glowing Valkyrie.

I've been having a stressful week, and one thing that has helped me a great deal has been losing myself in this series once again. Its been a while since I've had this much fun reading. 📖😎

I meant to write during a flight today but instead... this is close to my favorite Immortals, simply because the conflict is just about impossible to reconcile. Macgrieve for #2 impossible conflict. What's yr favorite? #romantsy

Lauren_reading I am always surprised when the conflicts in her books are solved - the problems always seem impossible! I just need Nix to have a book!!! 8y
triskeleseeker Glad to hear I'm not the only one distracted from writing on flights :) 8y
EloisaJames @LaurenReads I cannot wait for Nix--but it's one of those books with huge potential for disaster, you know? Who would pair with her? I think one of the guys in the latest book. 8y
