Is it ironic to be ridiculously excited about a book on Stoicism?*

I didn‘t know the bookstore was carrying this until a regular bought it. I immediately knew I would want one and considering some recent events, the timing couldn‘t be more perfect.

*This answer (to me) is no, it‘s not irony, because contrary to its reputation, Stoicism is not about repressing emotion, but rather feeling it and letting it go when its time has passed.
