I didn‘t get very far into this before I randomly stopped for something else in my normal fashion.
The author commented on my post and was nice enough to answer a question I had! I had no idea that this was part of a series or that the book was out of print right now.
I literally gasped out loud last night while reading in bed and made my husband jump lol!! I was NOT expecting the sentence, “He drew a pistol from his belt, aimed it at my mother, and shot her through the head.” 😱
