While the sequel to “Shoot The Messenger” didn‘t quite reach the dizzying heights or breathtaking pace of its predecessor and takes a little while to get going, it is still a fun adventure. With a living, breathing world filled with wondrous fae creations, a kick-ass heroine who shows much character growth as things develop, and a villainess who may be arrogant but is formidable enough to have earned that confidence, this is an amazing read!

girlwiththeglasses I really liked the second book more than the first book tbh 😅. But I still feel conflicted about it because Kesh relationship with the guys seems a little toxic to me. 6y

I keep forgetting to turn on Bookly when I read, so the hour count isn‘t really accurate! 😩 But I did manage to read three chapters of “Game of Lies” this morning, which is a lot for a slow reader like myself! That in itself feels like a bookish achievement! 😊
