The DNA of You and Me | 
pickI really enjoyed this novel about an awkward scientist and the story of what set her on the road, personally and professionally, towards a prestigious award she‘s been awarded in the beginning of the novel. She has to decide if the sacrifices she chose to make were worth it. Sad, well-written, and fascinating. I‘m starting yet another book while Gatsby enjoys her second (third?) nap of the day. Maybe one of these days I‘ll actually finish something I start. 😔 Gatsby, on the other hand, always finishes her naps.
pickWell, I definitely planned to read way more than this but unfortunately I have been dealing with some unexpected health concerns. I hope to have everything figured out so that I can participate in my buddy reads next month. I miss reading but I‘m glad to have this community and all my other book loving communities. It‘s sucks not being able to read. Maybe today I will get some reading in since I‘m not in that much pain.
