A little slow moving at first and a tad confusing with all the names but it‘s an amazing story that leaves you guessing from start to finish
What a wonderful book!!! 5 young Americans are sent into occupied France as spies for the OSS. They have made plans for 2 reunions. The first September after the war ends and the second, 20 years later. Odds are high that not everyone will attend!!! Highly, highly recommend if you like historical fiction!!!! 💜💜💜
Love love loved this book! 5 ordinary American citizens are recruited to become spies in Paris during WWII! You follow them from before they were recruited to several years later and this does not disappoint! One of my favorite WWII historical fictions of 2019! Definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me! A historical fiction must read!

#TBRtemptation post 6! At WW2‘s height, 5 Americans receive a mysterious letter from the OSS—a Texan athlete, a wealthy businessman‘s son, a poor Midwest fisherman, an orphaned fashion designer, and a beautiful fencer. Their group is code-named Dragonfly. When trained, they are dropped in occupied Paris and stay in touch via a secret dropbox. Then one of them is discovered and executed! Is someone working against them? #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
A very moving story of a group of SS agents called Dragonfly during WWII. Rich in creativity and historical detail. I loved this book. I‘ve read many, many historical fiction books in my life and this was one of the best. This was comparable toThe Lost Girls of Paris for me.
I‘m declaring it now, Dragonfly is one of my Top Five Reads of 2019. That‘s saying something because as of this writing, I‘ve already read 120 books. Utterly engrossing, highly suspenseful, and deeply evocative, this superbly-written book deserves a plethora of superlatives for how thoroughly I‘ve enjoyed reading it.
Just finished this GEM!!! Reminds me so much of one of my all time favs, JACKDAWS by Ken Follett. Although it was just under 600 pages. It moved swiftly with twist and turns throughout. At times it was predictable but that never took away from the talent of this author!!! A very enjoyable read!
Committed a crime...instead of reaching for one of my fabulous books in my TBR pile, I ran into this book, fell in love, debated, devil told me to get it, and now I‘m reading it..😳
In today‘s mail. Apparently a win from the Hatchettte Book Club giveaway. Totally not in my wheel house but it‘s so big and nice I don‘t want to save it for RFS.
Hummmm. Guess I‘ll give it away as part of the #BBRC prizes. Only July 1st, I‘ll pull a name of a participant and they will win this book.
bTW this book is think. Barely fit in the mailbox
