The Conversations
The Conversations: 66 Reasons to Start Talking | Olivia Fane
2 posts | 1 read
We've all known the heady thrill of a conversation that goes on all night. Once we had opinions on everything but as life becomes more humdrum we often lose that passion. Sometimes we can't remember what we really think at all. This brilliant book encourages us all to think anew. Olivia Fane provides the starting points for 66 conversations to be had with a partner, friend, stranger or simply with ourselves. These though-provoking and stimulating short discussions on happiness, vanity, infidelity, education and more, ask you the questions that will help you get to know those with whom you share your life. Whether you agree or vehemently disagree, The Conversations provides endless food for thought and a surprising window onto some of the big subjects that define who we are and how we live.

@SilversReviews

I don't have anyone at home to chat with about books. My husband's idea of reading is a technical manual.😋 There are two readers at work that we talk about books daily. The rest of my bookish conversation happens right here with fellow Littens. 📖

SilversReviews Thank goodness for Litsy so I can chat about books any time I want. Thanks for joining in. 6y
Aims42 Yeah, Litsy is the only place where I can daily talk about books. Thank God! 💖 6y

KristinaRay Litsy. That‘s why I‘m here. I have a few others in my life who will talk books with me, but those are people I only see occasionally. 6y
Velvetfur I don't have anyone in real life who's a book nerd like me, so you Littens are my saviours! 😀📖 6y

Praying I'll become a conversation sensation on the morning commute tbh.
