Oh my goodness @LeahBergen have you read this book? It is Noel Streatfeild examining (fangirling over?) the life and works of E Nesbit. It is just SO delightful. I think 2024 might be the year to revisit my favourite classic childrens literature - this is enticing me in that direction as surely as the smell of fresh cookies. 😍😂 (library copy - i need to find my own copy)

merelybookish I was thinking of rereading some Nesbit this year. I didn't discover her until adulthood (and even wrote a chapter in my diss on her 🤪) but feel it would be good to re-read her for fun. 1y
