Gorgeous. Heartbreaking. Difficult to read. Once again, the author has captured these familiar characters in a way that is captivating and heart wrenching and keeps you coming back for more. I have opinions on the David/Bathsheba relationship that I won‘t hash out here, but give this a read, it‘s phenomenal.
