I'm being kinda slow on this one because it feels genuinely full of danger, and my brain is too tired to think it all through and get caught up in it!

The books in this series are taunting me. As soon as I finally get my hands on one paperback, the next in the series goes out of stock, despite being in stock the whole time until I buy the one before it.
Still, I should have the next book or two once I finish this one, which means I can relax and get stuck into this properly now, heh. Think I need to do some research to understand the historical/political context though!
Yaaay I managed to get this after weeks of everywhere saying it didn't exist new anymore. And of course I'm now well stuck in. Without saying who gets killed, I never met a corpse who suited it better!
*I'd love to buy second-hand books, but since I got one infested with booklice, I'm just not as keen on the idea anymore. Yuck, it was a pain to get my collection de-pested.
I have just started in the last week reading Tasha Alexander's Lady Emily Series I am on the 3rd book and the stories are good but I'm not sure if I like the main character yet.
Don‘t mind me, just casually obsessing over this series.
1. Clue Bingo!!!!!!! 🔎
2. I like everything except straight-up-horror, tbh. And stereotypical romance novels.
3. Just gimme‘ ALL the Swedish Fish.
4. Forever my grandpa, and I miss him every day. Also my mom, honestly.
5. EVERYBODY. @Ashley_Nicoletto @JenlovesJT47 @cobwebmoth @melrailey @CocoReads @Cinfhen @Leslie2 NO BUT SERIOUSLY, FRICKIN‘ EVERYBODY I FOLLOW IS MAGNIFICENT OKAY?? 😍😍😍 #friyayintro
Finally getting back to lovely Lady Emily and her shenanigans, because the bottom of the library pile is in sight (for now!) and that feeling is a good one! (It won‘t stay that way, but oh well. 😂) #afatalwaltz #tashaalexander #ladyemily
So the ending of A Final Waltz felt a little off for me. I hoped Lady Emily #3.5 (not listed)- the short story about Emily and Colin‘s wedding - would help clear things up for me. It did not.
More Lady Emily! Had a hard time putting this one down last night. I‘ve heard that the fourth book may not be the strongest of the series but this (the third) I‘m really enjoying.
Set mainly in Vienna with some fun historical cameos, Lady Emily fights for evidence to release Ivy‘s husband from Newgate after his mentor‘s murder. But danger is everywhere. And it seems Colin‘s former mistress has Lady Emily fighting for her heart‘s desire too!
Took this picture a while ago but it is one of my favorites and perfect for todays #musicaltitles prompt. #maybookflowers
