**"New York" Magazine's Top 10 Books of 2013****GoodReads Reader s Choice Award Winner** Some years ago I wrote a book about a boy named Geryon who was red and had wings and fell in love with Herakles. Recently I began to wonder what happened to them in later life. "Red Doc"> continues their adventures in a very different style and with changed names. To live past the end of your myth is a perilous thing."

Took me a bit to find the rhythm; I haven't read a novel in verse for a while, and this one was significantly more poetic in the 'dark academia' sense than previous ones I've read. Plan to go back and read Autobiography of Red, but my library doesn't currently have it.

On display at the Banff Centre Library. The covers on these editions are certainly different from the ones I‘m used to on the English language editions.

I love Anne Carson, and this book was another example of her talent. Autobiography of Red is still my favorite, but this was a great read. “To live past the end of your myth is a perilous thing.”

Lindy I‘m with you. Her best is 6y
