I'm going to try and share all the Christmas treats I'm making this year! The featured craft for #LitsyCrafters is baking this month so remember to share all those treats with me!
Today I made Lebkuchen, a soft German gingerbread with a sugar glaze on top. I made it for #FoodandLit 🇩🇪 and it smelled so amazing when making it. It uses lots of spices and orange and lemon zest so it's wonderfully fragrant!

Hoping that lebkuchen counts as Christmas cookies - if not then here‘s a picture of me eating lebkuchen first thing in the morning anyway 🤣

Today‘s new ep of my podcast is the last one before we kick off a fun little series called New Reads November... and YA author Kristina Forest is helping me send our usual literary throwbacks out (temporarily, at least!) with a bang. Tune in to hear Kristina and I chat about Rachel Cohn‘s Gingerbread, a 2002 novel about Cyd Charisse, a teen narrator with one of the most distinct voices I‘ve ever read. ✨ Link to listen in bio!
