DNF
Stopped at page 116, 27%. Well-written. It would most likely be worth the effort, but my mind is wandering and paying attention is a chore. If I try reading it again, it will be in book-form--not e-book.

I‘m going to do this challenge next year. Very excited! Anybody else? It‘s a Goodreads group.
I can‘t believe I hadn‘t read this before! It was really good, I love her writing! Definitely going to read more!
Just finished this 1965 Pulitzer Prize winner. The cover is all wrong though. It apparently depicts a central character, Margaret, a black woman who lived with and had three racially mixed children with the protagonist‘s white grandfather. The main story takes place in the 1930‘s thru the 1960‘s. The woman on the cover is dressed for the 1860‘s. Maybe because race relations in the South is the theme of the book? A lot has changed, but👎🏻
Snow day! Hoping to finish at least 2 of the 3 I‘ve got in progress. I‘m reading the tagged book for #LitsyAtoZ - it‘s been on my TBR for years!
"Her face was black and ours were white, but we were together anyhow. Her life and his. And ours."
